Reviews

Adanti goes around the world the same way Melville wrote Moby Dick: with the fascinated gaze of childhood, the critical intelligence of a scholar, and the humor of a sage. Pure Adanti.
Andrés Barba
La Ballena Tatuada is a novel, a comic, a history book. It is a magnificent balance of myth, a journey, a life, and a library.
Arturo Pérez-Reverte, writer
I share with Darío an addiction to knowledge — they call it epistemophilia, I think. But he digests what he learns and turns it into drawings, songs, jokes, summaries. It's impossible to be bored with this book in your hands. Impossible to be an idiot after finishing it.
Flavita Banana
Adanti, that man from Mongolia, draws with rigor, humor, and enormous precision a map of humor that stretches from the origin of laughter to the current conditions of repression and attacks on satire: ‘The best satirist is a dead satirist,’ he concludes — without cynicism. There is no cynicism in Shoot the Humorist, this graphic essay, this delayed-action intellectual bomb that MUST BE READ.
